We all have made it through another year. All the stress and drama of the previous year is now behind us. We are now facing a brand new year ahead of us. In order for us to feel relaxed and calm to face the road ahead of us, relaxation is in order. This is a perfect time to unwind and breathe. It is the time to reconnect with our significant others. Chances are with the hustle and bustle of the years end, romance was not on the top ten list. We need to bring those sparks back and remember the love that is shared.

Taking a romantic vacation getaway just might be the answer. It can be just for a weekend, a week or longer. The choice is solely yours. It does not have to be expensive to achieve. It all depends on how much you wish to spend. What type of trip you wish.

Relax in one of their jumbo whirlpools which include ones solely for adults 21 and over. Their spa features a Zen ambiance. Choose from a massage, manicure/pedicure, skin care, body treatments, enhancements (waxing, makeup) and a man's domain.

Massages include 12 different types such as aromatherapy, Swedish and hot stone. Three different manicures/pedicures are offered including a choco-holic pedicure. Yep, chocolate for your tootsies. Skin care has four facials to choose from. The body treatments in a Caribbean one or a Aroma Wrap if you prefer among others. Just for you guys they feature a sports massage or a back buff among others. If you are into fitness or just want to continue to shed a few more of those holiday pounds, a 24-hour fitness room is available.

For your adventure you can take advantage of their outdoor water park available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Enjoy their 18-hole mini-golf course or visit the arcade with over a hundred games. There is a lot more fun available.

Esperanza Mansion in Bluff Point, New York. Enjoy romance with spectacular lake views, wineries and rolling hills. A true erotic getaway. Their Romance Getaway Package will greet your overnight stay with Champagne, Rose/Fresh Flowers and of course the aphrodisiac of chocolate covered strawberries. A dinner for two is included. The Romance package is available during February, March and April, Wednesday through Saturday. Pricing starts at $219.00 - $279.00.

Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Delight yourselves in the romantic atmosphere of Italy but be on the Vegas strip.

Arrabelle Hotel in Vail, Colorado. This luxury resort just opened last January. Though it only has 36 hotel rooms it is well worth the chance of going. Their beds host floor-to-ceiling drapery canopy and fire place. The marble bathrooms let you share a romantic bubble bath for two in it's cast iron deep tubs. Need more pampering visit their 10,000 square foot spa where you can enjoy the couple's treatment room and couple's private suite with your own private circle tub. On the rooftop you will find a pool complete with hot tubs, fitness center that contains Life Fitness cardio equipment, single weight stations. Consultants and personal trainers are available. Among the many amenities in room you will also have plush robes, maid service, in room safes and more. A butler is on each floor. For more enjoy skiing this time of year at Vail Mountain. It is the largest single mountain in North America. It has 193 trails and 5,289 acres for skiing. Snowshoeing, sleigh rides to ice skating can be found among the winter activities. However, if your idea of romance consists of nice warm summer weather, they have this covered also. Enjoy golf among 13 courses. Thrill seekers can enjoy whitewater rafting (May - October). Romantic dinners here are just that. You can have an intimate private beach dinner for two. Enjoy the private table complete with flickering candles.

You can work with the chef and customize your own menu complete with one of the finest wines by the resorts restaurants employees who have extensive knowledge in wines and how to pair them with foods. A additional $95.00 is added to the dinner bill as a set up charge. You will definitely be pampered here. Included are twice daily housekeeping and yes they actually do nightly turn down service. Use of their fitness center or a adults only tranquility pool. Get driven to the Bal Harbour Shops. Check out the spa for sure with its Crystal Steam rooms. For additional fees you can enjoy some perks like a pool cabana, sight-seeing tours, hair salons and more. Rates for hotel rooms cost $850.00 - $1050.00 daily with suites starting at $1,600 - $2,400 daily for one bedrooms. These are just some places I have found. However, remember you can also have that romantic time by checking area around where you live for romantic suites in hotels to bed and breakfast. You can even just go camping for the weekend, sightseeing at some attraction in your state you always wanted to see. The idea here is romance not cost. You can spend a fortune on a getaway. It does not mean that the more you spend the more romantic it will be. Keep in mind what you and your partner will enjoy.
