We all have made it through another year. All the stress and drama of the previous year is now behind us. We are now facing a brand new year ahead of us. In order for us to feel relaxed and calm to face the road ahead of us, relaxation is in order. This is a perfect time to unwind and breathe. It is the time to reconnect with our significant others. Chances are with the hustle and bustle of the years end, romance was not on the top ten list. We need to bring those sparks back and remember the love that is shared.

Taking a romantic vacation getaway just might be the answer. It can be just for a weekend, a week or longer. The choice is solely yours. It does not have to be expensive to achieve. It all depends on how much you wish to spend. What type of trip you wish.

Relax in one of their jumbo whirlpools which include ones solely for adults 21 and over. Their spa features a Zen ambiance. Choose from a massage, manicure/pedicure, skin care, body treatments, enhancements (waxing, makeup) and a man's domain.

Massages include 12 different types such as aromatherapy, Swedish and hot stone. Three different manicures/pedicures are offered including a choco-holic pedicure. Yep, chocolate for your tootsies. Skin care has four facials to choose from. The body treatments in a Caribbean one or a Aroma Wrap if you prefer among others. Just for you guys they feature a sports massage or a back buff among others. If you are into fitness or just want to continue to shed a few more of those holiday pounds, a 24-hour fitness room is available.

For your adventure you can take advantage of their outdoor water park available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Enjoy their 18-hole mini-golf course or visit the arcade with over a hundred games. There is a lot more fun available.

Need more pampering visit their 10,000 square foot spa where you can enjoy the couple's treatment room and couple's private suite with your own private circle tub. Among the many amenities in room you will also have plush robes, maid service, in room safes and more. A butler is on each floor. For more enjoy skiing this time of year at Vail Mountain. It is the largest single mountain in North America. It has 193 trails and 5,289 acres for skiing. Snowshoeing, sleigh rides to ice skating can be found among the winter activities. These are just some places I have found. However, remember you can also have that romantic time by checking area around where you live for romantic suites in hotels to bed and breakfast. You can even just go camping for the weekend, sightseeing at some attraction in your state you always wanted to see. The idea here is romance not cost. You can spend a fortune on a getaway. It does not mean that the more you spend the more romantic it will be. Keep in mind what you and your partner will enjoy.
